PDA Patiala lottery draw for 104 residential plots in Urban Estate, Phase IV of the Patiala Urban Planning and Development Authority (PDA), in the city carried out today.
Additional Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department and Vice Chairman, Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority (PUDA), said as many as 1,477 applications had been received from the people for the area.

She said the PDA received 214 applications for nine plots of 100 sq yards, 226 applications for 10 plots of 150 sq yards, 643 applications for 24 plots of 200 sq yards and so on.
She said successful candidates could submit their documents at the PDA office by October 5. The letter of intent for successful applicants will be released by October 31. The applicants will be required to submit 15 per cent of allotment amount in 30 days from the release of the letter of intent.
The allottees will be required to submit the remaining 75 per cent of the amount in 60 days from the release of deemed possession upon which they will be given 5 per cent concession.
She said allotment letters will be released to the allottees within one month from the date of the offer of possession. We will soon start the work on the site. The site will be handed over to the allottees at the time of completion of the project or within 18 months from issue of intent. Chief Administrator, PDA, said the amount submitted by unsuccessful applicants will be returned by October-end.
